In order to serve the needs of all Emory students, CAPS utilizes a goal-oriented therapy model. Many students find that their concerns can be addressed in just a few sessions, while others need ongoing or specialized care. If the support you need is not available on campus, a clinician can help you connect with off-campus providers and services.

If you have already identified a community therapist and have the student health insurance, call 404-727-7450 to request an insurance referral activation. This must be re-activated every August. If you would like help identifying a community provider, please schedule an initial assessment appointment with a CAPS clinician.
